Two moons were hanging above the horizon. The Moon Rabbit was watching thoughtfully his reflection on the dark surface of an emerald lake. A lonely autumn leaf suddenly started its farewell dance on the water being driven by a subtle wind. The Big Carp stopped for a moment and then again went on gathering sparks of a star powder in a crystal clear depth.
The netsuke is carved from a mammoth tusk and stained with yasha.
The eyes of the Rabbit are inlaid with Baltic amber. If you look at the Rabbit from a certain angle, you will see moon gleams in the depths of his eyes.
The leaf is encrusted with a fossil bison bone.
The «star dust» is encrusted with a mother-of-pearl.
Signed on the right hind paw of the Rabbit.
