The netsuke shows a bat carrying a centipede picked up from the ground. The hollow part of a sperm whale tooth was used as material for the figurine. I turned the other half of the hollow part into the Fish netsuke.

The figurine is stained with yashabushi ink. The eyes of the bat are inlayed with jet stone.
