It is the second version of Happy boar netsuke, the first one is here. The netsuke represents a wild boar resting in oak grove. On hearing rustling of acorn falling through the leaves the boar manages to catch it at the moment when the acorn touches its back.

This netsuke is a wish to an owner easily and promptly to catch successful moments.

The boar is carved of ivory. Pupil of the eye is inlaid with dark brown petrified tusk of mammoth.
